Welcome to the official website for the St Charles Primary School, Parents and Friends Association. On these pages we hope to be able to keep you up to date with upcoming events, provide you with contact details if you would like to get in touch with us and post photos of our social and fundraising events.
The St Charles Parents and Friends Association is a committee of parents that represents the interests and ideas of the wider parent community at St Charles Primary School. The Parents and Friends Association provides direct input into the day to day running of the school and enables parents to voice concerns and raise any questions about the school. These issues are then taken to the school principal for consideration and/or action.
The P&F is of course instrumental in raising funds for the school to purchase infrastructure beyond which is available through government funding or funding from the Catholic Education Office. Since 2005, the P&F has donated more than $200,000.00 to the school. This money was used to fund the following initiatives:
It is important to note that without the Parents and Friends Association these resources would not be available to our children.
We welcome all parents to our meetings which are held once per term. We also encourage parents to come along to our social events to meet other parents and make new friends. Of course, we also welcome any help you can give us at our various fundraising events throughout the year.
